Arsenal have revived their interest in Fulham centre-back Joachim Andersen, according to reports in the English media.
The Gunners tried to sign the Danish international in the summer of 2019 when he was still at Sampdoria, but he moved to Lyon instead, and he has since found himself out on loan at Craven Cottage.
Andersen has performed well at Fulham, but he is expected to be available this summer for around £20m, with Lyon needing to raise funds due to the financial impact of the global health crisis.
West Ham have also been credited with an interest in the 24-year-old, while reports earlier this month suggested that the likes of Manchester United, Chelsea, Tottenham, Leicester and Crystal Palace were keeping tabs on the defender.
It does appear then that Arsenal will have a fight on their hands if they want to secure Andersen’s signature ahead of their rivals at the end of the season.
