Arsenal Interested In 21-Year-Old Rising Star

Arsenal will probably be selling players or loaning them out as soon as this January in order to fund some future transfers. The first to go is Yaya Sanogo who has disappointed with every chance he has had. He is now on loan with Ajax where there were already rumors that he will be sent to the club’s secondary squad. Szczesny will probably bring the most money to the club’s budget. The 25-year-old keeper seems to be doing really well for Roma who have the option to buy in June. Despite insisting his future is with Arsenal, the Polish international is likely going to take the number one spot in Roma’s goal on a permanent basis. Jenkinson could return and replace Debuchy (as Bellerin’s back-up) who is keen on spending more time on the pitch which can only be achieved through a transfer. Add to that the fact that Arteta, Flamini, Rosicky and Campbell will have to renegotiate their deals as they are about to expire in June 2016, and you get an idea why Wenger needs to bring in new players.

One of the names that stands high up on the list is 21-year-old defender Daniele Rugani. It seems that the young defender is not getting the treatment he was promised when returning from Empoli to represent Juventus. Instead of making appearances in order to show how good he is, he has only featured once in a Champions League game. He would be a good signing for Arsenal who are struggling to replace the central defenders every time when Koscielny and Mertesacker pick up injuries. Hopefully bringing in Rugani will help Arsenal avoid using players like Monreal in the center of the defense. The Italian is valued at about £5m and according to the Daily Star, he would not say no to a good offer coming from the Premier League.
