Arsenal have six players who have been undergoing treatment during the international break, and it remains to be seen how many will be available for the trip to Watford on Sunday.
Both Lucas Torreira (knock) and Granit Xhaka (Achilles) have picked up issues on international duty, although the latter has said he believes he should be fine to play this weekend.
Joe Willock is also expected to be back in contention for the game at Vicarage Road. The 20-year-old has been suffering with a calf problem but will likely be in the matchday squad to face the Hornets.
Hector Bellerin (knee) is closing in on a first-team return. The Spaniard has not played since January but he is poised to take part in full training before the end of the month.
Kieran Tierney, meanwhile, is likely to be back within the same timeframe. The £25m summer signing suffered complications from a double hernia operation he underwent in the summer but he is now close to making his comeback after playing two games for the Under 23s.
Konstantinos Mavropanos is slightly further behind in his recovery from a groin problem, but he is also predicted to be back in training in the next couple of weeks.
