Arsenal Injury News And Return Dates: Updates On William Saliba, Bukayo Saka, Kai Havertz And 3 More

Arsenal centre-back William Saliba twisted his ankle in the warm-up before the 1-0 defeat to Liverpool at the weekend.

The 24-year-old was determined to start the game, but it soon became apparent that he wasn’t fit to continue.

Saliba has pulled out of international duty, and he is a doubt for the Gunners’ upcoming fixtures.

Expected Return Date: Unknown

Bukayo Saka

The winger pulled his hamstring early in the second half of the 5-0 win over Leeds last month.

There was obviously a lot of concern, with Saka having been sidelined for three months last season after sustaining a similar injury.

However, it appears the England international will only be on the treatment table for around four weeks this time.

Expected Return Date: Saturday 13th September – Nottingham Forest (h)

Ben White and Christian Norgaard

Neither player was in the matchday squad against Liverpool, with manager Mikel Arteta simply saying that they are monitoring their progress day by day.

Norgaard has yet to make his debut, having picked up a knock before the opening day fixture against Manchester United.

White, meanwhile, has missed the Leeds and Liverpool matches with an unspecified issue. Neither injury is thought to be serious.

Expected Return Date: Saturday 13th September – Nottingham Forest (h)
