Jurrien Timber
The fullback had to undergo surgery on an ankle injury at the end of last season and he has not returned to match fitness yet.
Arteta has said that Timber has still not managed to complete a full training session, which does suggest he is unlikely to start the opening game of the campaign against Manchester United.
There are a few weeks remaining before that fixture, though, so we shall see if he makes an appearance in upcoming friendlies.

Gabriel Jesus
The striker is still undergoing rehabilitation as he works his way back to fitness following an Anterior Cruciate Ligament injury.
Jesus was stretchered off against United in the FA Cup defeat back in January and recovery time is usually nine months.
It is likely that the Brazilian international will return either side of the September international break.
