Arsenal pair Riccardo Calafiori and Ben White are “in contention” to face Paris Saint-Germain, according to manager Mikel Arteta.
Both defenders were doubts heading into the Champions League fixture due to potential knee injuries. However, Arteta has said the two players are expected to be available on Tuesday evening.
Supporters on X are delighted about the news, especially after rumours circulated about Calafiori:

Worries about Calafiori’s fitness have been put to bed
There was speculation that the summer signing had picked up an injury against Leicester, with the player being pictured in a knee brace.
However, it appears Calafiori simply suffered a knock. It’s unlikely that any risks will be taken with his fitness, though, especially if White is also available. The right-back has had his own knee problem to deal over the past 10 days but he could return to the starting lineup to face PSG, with Jurrien Timber potentially swapping flanks.
Other Arsenal injury news
Mikel Merino is closing in on his return from a shoulder injury. The Spaniard won’t be in the squad to play PSG but there is a possibility that he could be involved against Southampton this weekend.
Takehiro Tomiyasu (knee) is said to be closing on his comeback. The Japanese international has not played so far this season. However, captain Martin Odegaard (ankle), Kieran Tierney (hamstring) and Oleksandr Zinchenko (calf) remain on the treatment table.
