Viktor Gyokeres
The striker was replaced at halftime against Burnley after scoring the opener. Asked about the striker’s injury, manager Mikel Arteta said:
“We had to take him off because he was feeling a little niggle. So we’ll have to wait and see. He felt something muscular so we have to wait to learn the extent of that.”
Gyokeres was not in training on Monday, unlike Zubimendi, so his injury is clearly more serious.
At the moment, it seems unlikely that he will make the trip to Prague and it remains to be seen if he’ll be back in contention for the Sunderland fixture.
