Latest Arsenal Injury News & Expected Return Dates: Updates On Jurrien Timber & More

Arsenal are preparing for their opening game of the Premier League season which comes on Saturday 17 August at home against Wolves.

Mikel Arteta’s side will enter into the season knowing that they will yet again have to face Manchester City to try and win the league title after two battles in the last two seasons.

Arsenal have a relatively healthy squad, however, one star name is still recovering. Jurrien Timber is currently being assessed over a foot injury he sustained over 250 days missing an entire Premier League season.

Speaking about the Dutch centre-back, Arteta said: “He’s been doing some individual work, that’s clear now. So, we expect him to be ready to train with the group in the next week.

“After the amount of time he’s been out, we didn’t to take any risk with him.”
