Arsenal are expected to have Gabriel Martinelli and Leandro Trossard back available when they play Manchester City next month, according to the Daily Mail.
Martinelli has been sidelined since the win over Everton due to a hamstring injury, while Trossard was not available for the North London derby because of a similar problem.
Neither player is set to be involved in the Gunners’ next 3 fixtures against Brentford, Brentford and Lens and, while most fans on X are happy that Martinelli and Trossard could feature versus City, some are disappointed they won’t play before then:
Thank god. No excuses

Arsenal need all the help they can get
The Gunners have not beaten City in the Premier League since December 2015, when goals from Theo Walcott and Olivier Giroud sealed a 2-1 win. Manager Mikel Arteta’s only win against Pep Guardiola came in the FA Cup.
If they want to change that record, they will need every player fit and available, so having both Martinelli and Trossard ready for that game at the Emirates next month is a significant boost.
Concerns about Rice’s fitness
There are still some doubts about when Declan Rice will be fit again. He was substituted at half-time against Tottenham on Sunday due to a back injury.
Arsenal’s medical staff are hoping it is not a serious issue for the club’s record signing but there is no estimate on when he could return to action.
