Arsenal midfielder Fabio Viera has been cleared to resume training after over eight months on the sidelines.
The 24-year-old has been dealing with a groin/hip injury which he suffered in November 2023. He underwent surgery during the back end of the year and has been on the sidelines ever since.
However, despite the severity of his injury, Viera is back in training and could be available for selection in the Arsenal squad over the next couple of weeks.
Viera is currently being assessed and his status is set at around 75% match fitness. The Portuguese midfielder joined from Porto in 2022 and has since made 76 appearances.
He wasn’t available for Arsenal’s opening fixture against Wolves, but could be back next weekend.
