Arsenal defender Jurrien Timber is a doubt for the Gunners’ game against Everton on Saturday afternoon.
The Gunners make their final trip to Goodison Park, where Mikel Arteta will face his former manager David Moyes, who recently said Arteta is doing “unbelievably well” at the Emirates.
Arsenal have a few injury concerns heading into the game however, and could be without seven players for the match, which kicks off at 12.30 pm at Goodison Park.
Defender Jurrien Timber suffered a knee injury during Arsenal’s 2-1 win against Fulham in midweek. He is being assessed ahead of Saturday’s game and the club will make a decision on him tomorrow morning.
Expected return date – Saturday 5 April vs Everton (A)
Ben White
White is also a doubt for the game against Everton on Saturday as he is dealing with a knee injury too that he suffered before the international break at the end of March.
He is currently being assesed ahead of the game and looks to be on a similar timeline to Timber, as the club will likely decide on him on Saturday morning.
Arteta said on Friday: “Let’s see how Jurrien (Timber) and Ben (White) are tomorrow. There’s a chance [they could be fit]. We will decide tomorrow morning on which players can play and how long.”
