Arsenal defender Gabriel is a doubt to play against West Ham on Saturday afternoon after he picked up a knock in midweek. 

The Gunners had a Champions League clash against Olympiacos on Wednesday night, and they won 2-0, which is their second win in two games in the competition. They are one of six teams to win both their opening games.

However, there is no time to celebrate, as Arsenal will need to prepare for a game against West Ham on Saturday afternoon in the Premier League. With a win, they could go to the top of the Premier League table, above rivals Liverpool.

Defender Gabriel is a doubt for the game after a knock against Olympiacos. Mikel Arteta said after the game: “He felt something – I think it was a kick, I’m not sure, in the first half, and he was a bit uncomfortable. He could carry on, but we decided not to take any risks because he’s played a lot of games; he’s coming from a long-term injury as well, and we need to look after him.”
