Defender Gabriel suffered a knee injury during Arsenal’s 2-2 draw with Liverpool last Sunday. He had to be taken off in the 54th minute.
Mikel Arteta said: “We are still assessing him; it doesn’t look bad at all. He was much better than expected, so hopefully, he’ll be fine.”
It is still unclear as to whether he will be available this weekend but it is more likely that the Brazilian will return next weekend.
