Arsenal midfielder Declan Rice was substituted in the second half of the 2-0 win over West Ham on Saturday due to a back injury.
The 26-year-old is expected to join up with England for international duty, but his fitness will be assessed by the medical staff.
Speaking after the game at the weekend, manager Mikel Arteta confirmed that Rice had “asked to come off”.
That suggests the pain was sufficient to force him off the pitch, but there is still a good chance that he will be fit for the Gunners’ next game.
