Martin Odegaard

The captain has a knee problem, but speaking before the Chelsea game, Arteta hinted that it should not keep him out for too long:

“Unfortunately, Martin is still not feeling totally comfortable with that knee injury, and we decided not to risk him.”

It would not be a surprise if Odegaard is back on the bench for the midweek trip to the Amex.

Expected Return Date – Wednesday 4th March vs Brighton (a)

Ben White

The right-back picked up a knock before the North London derby, but Arteta has not given a timeframe as to when he could be back in action.

Prior to the Chelsea match, he said that he was hopeful that a couple of players would return to training, but White clearly wasn’t ready to play.

Expected Return Date – Unknown

Mikel Merino

The midfielder underwent surgery on a stress fracture in his foot last month, and he is set to miss the rest of the campaign.

Arteta has estimated a recovery time of up to five months, so Merino will be targeting a comeback in pre-season.

Expected Return Date – July
