Arsenal star winger Bukayo Saka is a doubt for Sunday’s game against Manchester City after he was taken off with an injury against Spurs.
The Gunners won 1-0 over their North London rivals but faced a blow as Bukayo Saka had to come off after 86 minutes as he was seen clutching his thigh.
It now puts the England international in doubt ahead of Sunday’s crucial match against title rivals Manchester City for which the Gunners can’t afford to lose their talisman.
Saka is currently being assessed and his status currently is set at 25% which makes him a doubt, but he is more likely to play than not against City.
Expected Return Date – Sunday 22 September vs Manchester City (A)
Riccardo Calafiori
New signing Calafiori is dealing with an ankle injury that he suffered during the international break. Mikel Arteta said: “We need to assess Riccardo, but with our staff, we have a good chance to have him back with us for the next game.”
It is unclear yet as to whether Calafiori will be available against Manchester City but it is looking more likely than not. He will miss Thursday night’s Champions League match against Atalanta.
