Arsenal are “confident” that Bukayo Saka will be fit for the fixtures against Atalanta and Manchester City this week, according to the Evening Standard.
The winger was substituted 5 minutes from the end of the North London derby at the weekend, with treatment being administered to his left leg.
However, it is believed that Saka was only suffering from cramps so he should be available for the Gunners’ upcoming games. Fans on X are unsurprisingly very happy about the news:

Will Saka start against Atalanta?
Considering that it appears the 23-year-old has suffered no ill effects from the issue he suffered against Tottenham, there is nothing stopping manager Mikel Arteta from playing him on Thursday night.
However, with so many matches in a short period of time, it may be wise to manage Saka’s fitness. With Raheem Sterling having been brought in to add more depth out wide, there is a good chance he will start in Bergamo instead.
What is the latest on the fitness of other Arsenal players?
It is still not clear how long Martin Odegaard will be out for, with swelling having made scans difficult to determine the seriousness of his ankle injury.
Riccardo Calafiori is also a doubt for the Atalanta game, having sat out the win over Spurs due to a calf problem. Kieran Tierney (hamstring) is back in individual training while Mikel Merino is making good progress recovering from a shoulder injury. The Spaniard is already out of his sling. Takehiro Tomiyasu is, though, still sidelined with a knee problem.
