Arsenal Injury News And Return Dates: Updates On Ben White, Gabriel & 3 Others

Arsenal defender Ben White picked up a hamstring injury against Wolves earlier this month.

Manager Mikel Arteta says that the 27-year-old will be sidelined for a “few games” but he is confident that he hasn’t picked up a serious issue.

Depending on the grade of the hamstring tear, White could have been out for several months but it looks like he has got off lightly.

That will be a tremendous relief for the player who has had his fair share of fitness problems since the start of last season.

Expected Return Date – Early January

Gabriel

The centre-back sustained an abductor injury whilst playing for Brazil in a friendly against Senegal last month.

Before the Everton game, Arteta said Gabriel is back out on the grass, and he is hopeful that the defender will be available for selection soon:

“He is pushing hard, as he always does… He’s evolving really well – doing pitch sessions – so he’s not too far.”

“We have to see in the last stages of that rehab how he progresses. But we are quite positive about it.”

Expected Return Date – Early January
