Arsenal and Tottenham are interested in signing Manchester United defender Eric Bailly, according to reports in the English media.
The Ivorian international was dropped by manager Jose Mourinho after the 3-2 defeat to Brighton & Hove Albion last month and he hasn’t started a game since then.
Bailly is said to be preparing to quit Old Trafford in the January transfer window if he doesn’t get his place back, with the Gunners said to be monitoring the 24-year-old’s situation along with their London rivals.
Unai Emery’s side have yet to keep a clean sheet in five league games this season. They conceded a late Ciaran Clark goal at the weekend, although they still managed to secure a 2-1 away victory at Newcastle.
Bailly meanwhile, did come on as a late substitute for United in their 2-1 win at Watford on Saturday, but he has spent just a few minutes on the pitch since the loss to Brighton.
