Arsenal believe they can tempt Sheffield United into selling both Aaron Ramsdale and Sander Berge by offering a “significant lump sum” payment for the two players, according to the Sheffield Star journalist James Shield:

Ramsdale is valued at £40m by the Blades while Berge is said to have a £35m release clause. The Gunners are not prepared to pay those types of numbers, but they are hoping a compromise can be reached.
If enough of the fee can be handed over in one go, Arsenal officials are said to believe United will be ready to discuss terms about a double transfer, although how the Blades would respond to the proposal, in reality, it is not known.
Ramsdale is the London club’s number one target to provide competition for Bernd Leno in goal, while Berge is a player that has been tracked by the Gunners’ scouting department for quite some time.
