Wolves have entered the race to sign Juventus defender Daniele Rugani, according to reports in both England and Italy. Nuno Espirito Santo’s side are believed to be lining up a £30m bid for the defender but it remains to be seen if such an offer would be acceptable to Juve.
There have been claims that the Bianconeri are holding out for £50m for the Italian international, but Maurizio Sarri is said to be willing to offload the defender this summer.
Arsenal have had a two-year loan offer knocked back by Juventus but they are believed to be considering another offer for the centre-back before the transfer window closes.
The Gunners also have the edge on Wolves in the fact that Rugani is said to be keener on a move to the Emirates rather than Molineux. Even so, the London club will still need to come up with a proposal that would match Juventus’s demands.
