Arsenal Have Made Enquiries About 30M Rated French Ace Who Has Scored 11 Goals In 20 Games This Season

Arsenal have enquired about the availability of Rennes winger Martin Terrier, according to reports in the French media.

It has been previously claimed that the Gunners have scouted the Frenchman but it appears as if they have now stepped up their interest in the player.

Terrier has been in impressive form, having scored 11 goals in just 20 appearances. He isn’t a one-season wonder either, having scored 21 times in Ligue One last campaign.

Considering the 25-year-old’s best position is playing off the left flank, it is likely that he is being looked at as a cheaper alternative to Shakhtar Donetsk’s Mykhaylo Mudryk.

Terrier’s asking price could be as low as £30m, although competition for his signature could increase his value. Both Liverpool and Manchester United have also kept a watchful eye on the forward so a lot depends on whether either team is prepared to make an official offer of their own.

Arsenal’s focus, for now, will be on Mudryk but, at the time of writing, no compromise has been reached with Shakhtar over a transfer fee.
