Arsenal have tabled a €17m (£15m) offer for Galatasaray defender Sacha Boey, according to reports in the Turkish media.
The Gunners are believed to be in the market for a new right-back as they look to provide competition for Ben White.
Boey appears to be the player that Mikel Arteta has identified for the position, but Arsenal will likely need to make a bigger bid to secure the player’s signature.
Galatasaray are said to value the 22-year-old at around €25m (£22m) and it remains to be seen whether the two sides can reach a compromise.
Who Is Arsenal Target Sacha Boey?
The fullback came through Rennes’ academy before making his senior debut for the Ligue One side against Toulouse at the back end of the 2018/19 season.
Boey then went out on loan to Dijon in 2020 and he was offloaded to Galatasaray on a permanent basis a year later.
Despite being a France youth international, he has been called up by Cameroon on two separate occasions but he has yet to get his first cap for the African country.
