Arsenal Have Great Chance Of Signing German Ace Following News That Club Are ‘Ready’ To Make Loan Deal Happen

Borussia Dortmund are “ready” to send attacking midfielder Julian Brandt out on loan this month, according to Bild. The German publication claims that the 24-year-old is not up for sale but his club feel a temporary departure could aid the player’s development.

Arsenal are believed to be keeping tabs on the German international, although Dortmund’s chief executive Michael Zorc is adamant that they have not received any offers for the midfielder so far this transfer window.

However, Bild report that a loan departure for Brandt could be given the green light if a “lucrative” offer is made, meaning any interested club would have to pay a sizeable loan fee in order to get him.

Whether that would be of interest to the Gunners, it seems doubtful. The club are not in the best state financially and paying a fee for a player where there is no option to buy would not make sense.
