Arsenal Handed Massive Transfer Boost With 76.6M Rated Target Now ‘Keen’ On Moving To England

Real Sociedad striker Alexander Isak is “keen” on moving to the Premier League, according to Eurosport.

The website reports that the Swedish international sees Arsenal as a “particularly interesting option” with the Gunners having scouted the forward over the last year.

Mikel Arteta’s side were heavily linked with Isak at the start of last summer but hopes of snapping up the 21-year-old faded after he signed a new contract with Sociedad.

With his buyout fee having increased to €90m (£76.6m), he had been effectively priced out of a move, but it seems the player would still be open to a switch to the Emirates.

Arsenal had been pursuing Fiorentina’s Dusan Vlahovic but competition for the Serbian is proving to be too fierce, with Tottenham, Manchester City and Juventus also interested in the player.

Isak would, therefore, be a good alternative, although it remains to be seen whether the Gunners would try and sign the Swede for below his release clause.
