Arsenal Handed Major Boost With French International Midfielder Open To Summer Transfer

Bayern Munich midfielder Corentin Tolisso is open to leaving the Bundesliga club in the summer, according to Footmercato.net.

The 25-year-old is not a first-team regular under Hansi Flick and with the head coach having committed his long term future by signing a new contract until 2023, the midfielder’s time at the Allianz Arena could well be coming to an end.

Arsenal are believed to be one of five clubs keeping tabs on Tolisso’s situation. Juventus, Napoli, Atletico Madrid and Manchester United are all involved in the race to sign the Frenchman.

Manager Mikel Arteta could well be looking for another central midfield player if Dani Ceballos doesn’t make his loan move to Arsenal permanent at the end of the season. The Spaniard has been linked with a return to Real Betis in recent weeks.

Whether Tolisso would be a suitable replacement, it remains to be seen. The France international has scored three goals and provided five assists in 23 games this campaign.
