Arsenal have been given a boost in their efforts to sign Paris Saint-Germain defender Layvin Kurzawa with it being reported in France that Juventus’s bid to sign the France international has stalled.

The Serie A champions were looking to swap defender Mattia De Sciglio for the PSG fullback but it appears that negotiations have run into difficulties.

Kurzawa has been considered as a potential target by the Gunners with head coach Mikel Arteta looking to strengthen his fullback options before the transfer window shuts.

However, it is believed that PSG’s £4.2m valuation of the player was above what the London club were willing to pay, considering the defender’s contract expires in the summer.
