Arsenal Gunning For Super Mario!

Arsenal Gunning For Super Mario!

After spending most of his time at Manchester City in the constant glare of the media, Balotelli quit the English champions and headed to Italian giants AC Milan. His time at the Etihad Stadium was marred by several incidents and his antics, which saw him eventually head to his home country.

After a relatively trouble free start to life at San Siro, it looks like trouble in one form or the other has found him yet again already. The latest incident involving him was when he was snapped in tears after being substituted mid-way through AC Milan’s clash against Napoli. There were also reports doing the rounds previously suggesting that the Italian international was being subjected to racist taunts by opposition fans which upset him.

The Express are now reporting that the 23-year old is already fed up with life in Italy and wants to move onto a fresh challenge, and that Arsene Wenger is keen to bring him back to England in the summer. He has acknowledged his need to bring in a big name striker to the club, and is weighing up a move for Balotelli. Arsenal and him share a common sponsor in Puma, and the Gunners are hoping that the kit manufacturing giant could pull some strings and help see this deal through.

Would the hypothetical arrival of Balotelli do Arsenal any good?
