Arsenal Gunning For Balotelli

The Italian striker Mario Balotelli is wanted by Wenger as he looks to add more firepower to his attack for next season. Balotelli, who has played in England before with Manchester City, could be sold by Milan as they look to ease their wage bill in the summer.

Scorer of Italy’s winning goal in their opening match against England in the World Cup, Balotelli is open to a return to England. The 23-year-old left City for a return to Serie A with AC Milan in January 2013, after scoring 30 goals in 80 appearances in all competitions for the Citizens.

His agent recently revealed that the striker could be open to a move away from San Siro, according to Daily Mail. On Arsenal’s reported interest in Balotelli, his agent said, “Arsenal are a fantastic club. Will a transfer happen? Anything is possible.”

The Gunners are putting together a financial package in order to woo Balotelli to join the north London side.
