Arsenal Get A Second Chance At Signing Higuain

Wenger gets a shot at making up for one of his biggest mistakes. Missing out on Higuain and allowing Napoli to sign him was a poor choice especially if you consider the Argentinian’s form after he left Real. Arsenal had little faith in the 27 year old who just came after a complicated back surgery. Even so he should have been given a chance especially with Van Persie leaving and with Giroud not in the best form of his life. According to TalkSport, Wenger can now make up for his mistake by sending an offer to Napoli. Higuain is rumored to have made a plan for the future and that plan does not include the Italian side. After rebooting his career, he is now ready to return on top and fight for Champions League glory. The Premier League seems very tempting for the striker who despite becoming a true idol for the people in Napoli, looks like he is better suited for a more offensive competition.

Wenger will have to save big time though if Napoli will decide to sell. He cost the Italians around £35m which is not actually a bargain. Hopefully, they will lower expectations and allow Higuain to leave for a lot less. Even though under contract until 2018, a deal could be made in order to improve Arsenal’s attacking line. An offer is expected to be made at the end of this season when Higuain will decide what his future holds.
