Arsenal Free To Transfer Moussa Sissoko

Arsenal Free To Transfer Moussa Sissoko

Arsenal could finally get the defensive midfielder they have been trying so hard to find. According to the Chronicle, Newcastle’s player is keen on leaving the club an joining a team that is more involved in fighting for trophies like the Premier League title or the Champions League. The 25 year old who came to England in 2013 was linked to the Gunners on several occasions. With Wenger being such a great admirer of the France international, news that a bid will be made were many. Hopes rise now that Toulouse’s former midfielder publically admitted to being interested in a move despite being under contract until 2019.

An offer made right now would probably convince Sissoko to leave Newcastle. Unfortunately for Wenger, the player is not the only one to decide what his future holds. With his contract having a long way to go, it will be very difficult for Arsenal to actually bring the 25 year old to Emirates.

The signs that the midfielder wants to come to Arsenal are many. He even snubbed an offer from PSG by saying that his future is in the Premier League. Sissoko looks really set on competing in the Champions League with Wenger who has yet to send an offer to Newcastle. It would be a great success for the Frenchman to manage to bring such an important player during the January transfer window which up until now was nothing like fans expected. Arsenal has yet to make a transfer which makes Gooners concerned for what is to come.
