Arsenal Flop Is ‘Top Of The List’ For Italian Giants With Player Believed To Be Available For 25M

Arsenal winger Nicolas Pepe is “top of the list” of transfer targets for AC Milan ahead of the January transfer window, according to IlMilanista.it.

The Italian website claims that the Rossoneri’s Director of Football Frederic Massara sees the Ivorian international as the “right profile” for the Serie A club.

Pepe has struggled since his club-record £72m move from Lille in 2019, and Milan believe he will be available for a very reasonable price.

Il Milanista reports that the Gunners would only ask for the “paltry” sum of €30m (£25.2m), which would make him an attractive option to strengthen the Italian side’s squad in the New Year.

Whether that figure is accurate or not, though, it is questionable. Reports in England have circulated a similar number but the source for that price tag came from an opinion article, rather than an actual inside source.

In any case, Pepe has it all to do to save his Arsenal career and he will need to up his game in the coming weeks in order to stay at the Emirates.
