Italian international, Mario Balotelli has reached an agreement with Milan who have set a price for their striker. Arsenal will have to pay £29million for the 23 year old who was previously linked to a £20million bid from the Gunners. According to Metro, if the price is met, Balotelli is free to leave Milano after just one year. Previously playing for Manchester City for three years, the striker insisted his place is back in England where racism is not as big of an issue as it is in Italy.

Arsenal have been looking for a star striker for some time. They’ve failed repeatedly when it comes to brining in important players but they will hopefully meet Milan’s financial expectations which are not that exaggerated considering Balotelli is only 23 and after some hard lessons has enough experience to deal with most of football’s issues that may come his way. All that is left now is for the Gunners to reach an agreement with the Italian international who will probably receive a £180,000 per week wage.

Balotelli is now looking like he is top of Wenger’s transfer wish-list so we will have to see if the Italian makes his way to North London.
