Arsenal are favourites to land wantaway Manchester United star Marcus Rashford this summer, according to reports.

Rashford has struggled for game time since the arrival of Alexis Sanchezat Old Trafford, featuring for just over 150 minutes since the Chilean moved to United from Arsenal in late January.

The Englishman was left out of Jose Mourinho’s starting line-up again for the Manchester Derby on Saturday, and the youngster is now reportedly willing to leave his boyhood club this summer to look for more regular game time.

A United source said: “Marcus was really unhappy with being left out for the derby.

“If Mourinho is still there next season, Marcus might not be, as he wants to start every game.”

Amidst speculation he could leave Old Trafford as soon as this summer, a host of clubs have signalled their interest in taking on the talented 20-year-old.

Tottenham, Chelsea and Barcelona have all been linked with a move for Rashford, however it is Arsenal who are understood to be leading the chase for the England international.

BetStars spokesman Ian Marmion told Starsport: “Arsenal are now the clear favourites to sign Rashford, overtaking former favourites Real Madrid.

“Arsenal can be found at 5/1 to land the 20-year-old, who has become increasingly disillusioned with life at Old Trafford following the arrival of Alexis Sanchez in January.”
