Arsenal winger Leandro Trossard is likely to sign a new contract, with the Gunners set to give him a pay rise.
The Belgian attacker currently earns £90,000 per week, but Arsenal are set to give him a rise in order to keep him at the Emirates amid reports that he is subject to interest from Saudi Pro League clubs.
Trossard, 29, signed for the Gunners from Brighton in January 2023 for a fee of £20m with his estimated market value standing at around £30m.
He has since made 83 appearances, scoring 20 goals and 13 assists for the Gunners in a mostly rotational role behind Bukayo Saka and Gabriel Martinelli.
Amid the recent reports linking Trossard with a move away, Arsenal have decided to give him a new deal in order to tie the attacker down until June 2027.
Arsenal fans reacted to the news on X as Trossard looks set to stay at the Emirates.
Good, he deserves it.

Arsenal is never serious, this guy has been useless in the past 8 games for Arsenal and now they want to renew his contract……

Great decision, Trossard is a quality squad player. And can be sold for a higher fee with the contract extension.

He deserves it if you ask me. Saved Arsenal so many times by scoring those clutch goals. Even though he gets way less minutes than Martenelli he still does way more with the opportunity given.

I’m alright with this. smart business, safeguarding length of contract means when we come to sell will bump the price up.

Trossard getting a pay rise at Arsenal is proof money doesn’t always buy success. 🙌

I’m not sure about this. Clearly talented but perhaps a little too inconsistent

Leandro Trossard’s links to a move away from Arsenal
The Belgian international has been subject to a lot of transfer speculation as of late as interest from the Saudi Pro League has re-ignited.
In the summer, Al-Ittihad made a bid to sign Trossard which Arsenal rejected, and in recent months, interest has returned meaning that the Gunners could lose the winger.
The new deal was taken as a precaution in order to try and keep the winger at the club for the foreseeable future.
