Arsenal attacker Kai Havertz has suffered a season-ending hamstring injury whilst on a warm weather training camp in Dubai.
The German has been playing as Arsenal’s main striker this season, due to the fact that they failed to sign a striker and Gabriel Jesus suffered an ACL injury.
He has scored 15 goals in all competitions and has been Arsenal’s top scorer this season. But reports emerged on Wednesday morning that the attacker has ben ruled out for the rest of the season, which is a huge blow considering that he was the only fit striker that Arsenal had.
Thy currently sit six points behind Liverpool, and could do without such a massive blow. Fans took to X to react to the news…

The worst news possible right now. The gamble of not getting anyone in during the transfer window has backfired massively, absolute shambles

Our team has to be the most unserious team in the history of football, how didn’t we bring at least a single attacker in January?

This is a big blow to our title charge

No Saka, No Martinelli, No Gabriel and No Havertz.
Injuries don’t mean anything they said, we will see how the season ends for them.

Losing Havertz for the season after failing to reinforce in January is a disaster. The gamble backfired, and now we are stuck.

Arsenal have several attackers out injured
The Gunners have been incredibly unlucky with injuries to attackers as Gabriel Jesus remains out for the rest of the season with an ACL injury.
Furthermore, Bukayo Saka is still recovering from a hamstring injury that he suffered in December. He is back in the gym for the Gunners and looking at a needed return in March.
Furthermore, Gabriel Martinelli is also injured after suffering a hamstring issue against Newcastle in the Carabao Cup. It is not yet clear as to how long he will be out for.
