Arsenal fans don’t seem too bothered about the prospect of Danny Welbeck leaving The Emirates

Arsenal fans don’t seem too fussed about the prospect of Danny Welbeck leaving The Emirates before tomorrow’s transfer deadline.

Welbeck has been told by Gunners boss Unai Emery that he won’t be a regular first-teamer at The Emirates this season, and Arsenal are now willing to listen to offers for the England international as they look to shed the wage bill after a busy summer in the transfer market.

Everton, Southampton and Bournemouth are all understood to be keen to offer Welbeck a route out of North London, while Turkish giants Besiktas are also interested in the 27-year-old forward.

Welbeck has only one year remaining on his contract in North London, meaning the Gunners could be willing to take a cut-price for the striker in order to avoid losing him on a free next year.

Since becoming a Gooner in 2014, Welbeck has managed just 27 goals in a 112 appearances – 10 of those which came last season as he enjoyed his best ever return in an Arsenal shirt.

With Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, Alexandre Lacazette and youngster Eddie Nketiah all ahead of Welbeck in the pecking order at The Emirates, the Arsenal fans don’t see losing the Englishman as too big of a hit …
