Arsenal fans believe striker Lucas Perez should be given a chance under new manager Unai Emery this season.
The Spaniard is the club’s fifth choice forward behind Alexandre Lacazette, Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, Danny Welbeck and youngster Eddie Nketiah, and will reportedly be allowed to leave The Emirates this summer to help raise funds for new additions.
Lazio are favourites to land the 30-year-old striker, with the club’s sporting director Igli Tare confident the Spaniard can re-find his best form with the Biancocelesti.
Corriere di Roma report that the Serie A side will have to pay £7 million to lure him from North London however, with Arsenal keen to recoup some of the £17.1 million paid for him in 2016.
Valencia are also understood to be interested in the forward who has scored seven times in 21 appearances for the Gunners.
Perez spent last season on-loan with his former club Deportivo La Coruna, scoring eight goals and making six assists as Dépor were relegated from La Liga.
Perez returned to Arsenal for pre-season early, aiming to impress manager Unai Emery ahead of the new campaign – however it remains to be seen as to whether he remains in the Spaniard’s plans for the new season.
