Arsenal Eyeing Move For Spanish Assist King With £35m Release Clause

Arsenal sent scouts to watch AC Milan playmaker Suso in action at the weekend, according to reports in Italy.

The former Liverpool player played the full 90 minutes as the Rossoneri beat Cagliari 3-0 at the San Siro.

Suso has a release clause of €40m (£35m) which the Serie A club are trying to remove by offering a new contract.

It is believed that the 25-year-old would be open to signing a new deal as he is settled in Italy.

Suso and his partner recently had a baby and are currently not believed to be considering a move away from the country he moved to in 2015.

The Spaniard has, though, be in excellent form for his club this season. In 26 appearances, the midfielder has scored six goals and provided eight assists.

Suso can play in the number 10 role but generally plays off the right flank, cutting in onto his stronger left foot.
