Arsenal Eye Move For ‘Unsettled’ Tello

The 22-year-old Cristian Tello has featured just 29 times for the Catalan giants this season and he has reportedly grown disillusioned with life under “Tata” Martino. His time at the club may be coming to an end as the pacy forward has issued an ultimatum to the club with the Gunners, Liverpool and Spurs amongst the Premier League teams seemingly interested in the youngster.

According to the Express, Tello has told Barcelona that he will quit the club if Martino remains in charge next season. The Spaniard reacted angrily when he was being introduced as a very late substitute against Getafe recently.

Tello has time and again sought regular first-team football and his desire to play more frequently may force him to exit the Nou Camp. He has started a mere six games in all competitions for Barca, and it seems likely that he will move on at the end of the season.

Arsenal would be the perfect destination for Tello as the Gunners employ a similar brand of football to Barcelona. Arsene Wenger is looking for reinforcements for the new season and he is a long-time admirer of the tricky winger.

However, Wenger will have to deal with interest from Liverpool and Spurs, both of whom have monitored Tello for a long time.
