Arsenal Eye Move For Dutch International With 20 Goals And 13 Assists This Season

Arsenal are interested in AZ striker Myron Boadu, according to reports in the Dutch media. The 19-year-old is already a fully-fledged Dutch international and has been in excellent goalscoring form this season.

The forward has scored 20 goals and contributed 13 assists in 39 appearances, and he is reportedly seen as a cheaper alternative to Donyell Malen.

The PSV Eindhoven star is said to be valued at around €60m (£53.6m) which is out of the Gunners’ price range.

A move for Boadu will likely only happen if the London club opt to offload captain Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang at the end of the season.

The Gabonese international is closing in on the final twelve months of his contract at the Emirates, and it is believed he could well be sold to prevent him from leaving for nothing in 2021.

Aubameyang has remained tight-lipped over whether he will sign a new deal, which has likely led to the Gunners looking at other potential options.
