Arsenal Expected To Step Up Pursuit Of 25M Rated Bellerin Replacement

Arsenal are set to make their move for Norwich City right-back Max Aarons, according to reports in the English media.

The Gunners are said to be eyeing the 21-year-old as a perfect replacement for Hector Bellerin, who is expected to be sold this summer, with both Inter Milan and Atletico Madrid keen on signing the Spaniard.

Aarons is reportedly valued at around £25m by Norwich, and there could be potential rivals for the defender’s signature, with both Manchester United and Bayern Munich having been heavily linked over the past year.

It is not known when Arsenal will firm up their interest, but it’s likely that they will try and rubberstamp deals for both Anderlecht’s Albert Sambi Lokonga and Brighton’s Ben White before moving on to other targets.

Lokonga’s signing is expected to be officially announced before the London club travel for a pre-season tour of America while White is believed to be in line for a medical when he returns from holiday at the start of next week.
