Arsenal are monitoring Sampdoria goalkeeper Emil Audero, according to reports in Italy.
The Indonesian born Italian shot-stopper is currently on loan at the Serie A club from Juventus but the Blucerchiati do have the option to buy the player at the end of the season.
Whether Sampdoria would be interested in selling Audero on for a profit, it isn’t known, but it appears the Gunners are looking at the 22-year-old.
The keeper has been in good form this campaign, having kept eight clean sheets and conceded just 26 goals in 21 appearances for his current side.
Audero is also first choice for Italy’s Under 21s, starting in goal against both Germany and England in 2-1 defeats back in November.
Arsenal may be seeking a replacement for veteran Petr Cech who has announced his retirement from football at the end of the season. The 36-year-old has lost his place to summer signing Bernd Leno.
