Arsenal Enter Race For In Demand Premier League Striker

Wilfred Bony has been in red hot form for the Swans this season and his 16 Premier League goals in 34 matches has been a major factor in Swansea City still being a Premier League team for next season.

It is never easy for a foreign striker to thrive in the Premier League in his debut season but Bony has taken to it like the proverbial duck to water. His 25 goals in all competition for the struggling Swans just proves how good a striker he is and it is no surprise that he is being linked with a host of clubs across Europe.

Arsenal are the latest club to be linked with a move for his services. The Gunners are in the market for a striker and Bony would be a powerful addition to Wenger’s squad, according to the Mirror. The 25-year-old is happy at the Liberty Stadium but has expressed his desire to play at a higher level. If he moves, he would want to join a Champions League club.

However, Wenger will have to pay in the region of £20 million which might put the move in doubt.

Do you think Arsenal should sign Bony or look for a cheaper alternative or will the Gunners be better served going after QPR’s Loic Remy?
