Arsenal Dealt Transfer Blow With Ligue One Giants Set To Open Talks With January Target ‘In The Coming Days’

Paris Saint-Germain will begin discussions with Inter Milan over signing Christian Eriksen “in the coming days” according to Gazzetta Dello Sport.

The Italian newspaper claims that the Nerazzurri have only received enquiries for the Danish international so far but it is thought that talks could ramp up ahead of the start of the transfer window.

Arsenal and Manchester United are both said to be keen on Eriksen but PSG are thought to have the best chance of snapping up the 28-year-old as they will offer Leandro Paredes in exchange; a player Inter have been after for a long time.

Gazzetta say the Serie A side are “intrigued” by the proposal, although it must be pointed out that no formal offer has been made at this stage with PSG thought to have a number of other players they need to sell before making bids for January recruits.

At this moment in time, though, it does appear that the Ligue One champions are ahead of the Gunners in the running for Eriksen.
