Arsenal Dealt Double Injury Blow Ahead Of Rapid Vienna Clash

Arsenal will be without Willian and Dani Ceballos for tonight’s game against Rapid Vienna in the Europa League.

The Gunners have revealed that Willian is currently suffering with a minor issue in his right calf and will be rested ahead of Sunday’s game against Leicester City.

Since arriving from Chelsea on a free transfer in the summer, the Brazilian international has started in every single league game, but he is now a doubt for this weekend. Nicolas Pepe will likely be given a run-out in his absence.

Ceballos also has a minor ankle injury and he will not be in the squad this evening, although he could well be back to face the Foxes if the bruising settles down.

The Spaniard’s absence may prompt manager Mikel Arteta to give new signing Thomas Partey his full debut tonight, with the Ghanaian international having only had a brief cameo so far versus Manchester City.
