Arsenal have held new talks with the agents of Juventus midfielder Weston McKennie, according to the Gazzetta Dello Sport.
Although the Gunners have not made a formal bid for the American international, the Italian publication reports that an approach “could soon” happen before the transfer window closes:

Juve are only expected to hold out for a fee between €20m (£17.6m) and €25m (£22m) for McKennie, who has been the subject of interest from other teams, including Bournemouth, Aston Villa and Fulham.
It does appear Arsenal are seriously considering making an offer for the 24-year-old in what is turning out to be a busy week in the transfer market for the London club.
Sporting director Edu has already sealed the signature of Brighton’s Leandro Trossard and Spezia’s Jakub Kiwior, while a bid for Real Valladolid’s Ivan Fresneda has also been accepted.
From the looks of things, manager Mikel Arteta is getting the backing he has requested to reinforce his squad for his side’s title challenge.
