Arsenal Could Know In The Next 48 Hours Whether Deal For Serie A Midfield Maestro Will Be Finalised

A meeting between Arsenal and Juventus within the next 48 hours could decide whether Arthur’s loan move to the Emirates goes ahead, according to Calciomercato.com.

The Brazilian is believed to be interested in making the switch to the Gunners but Juve have a couple of reservations about the deal.

They would much prefer a loan that would lead to Arsenal signing Arthur on a permanent basis, once “certain objectives” are met.

On top of that, the Serie A side are adamant that a replacement will need to be found before they allow the Brazilian international to leave.

Chelsea’s Ruben Loftus-Cheek was the preferred option but Calciomercato claim that the Blues have blocked the 25-year-old from leaving Stamford Bridge.

The website don’t suggest any other options but there have been other claims in Italy today that indicate a deal could be in the works for Bayern Munich’s Corentin Tolisso, but we shall see how this all plays out.
