Arsenal Confirm Signing Of 21 Cap Danish International Midfielder

Arsenal Women have signed FC Nordsjaelland midfielder Kathrine Kuhl on a permanent deal, the club have confirmed.

The Dane, who has been capped 21 times by her country, will join up with the Gunners squad ahead of the return of the Women’s Super League next weekend.

Kuhl has spent three years with Nordsjaelland in the Danish Elitedivisionen, and she has looked impressive this season, having scored three goals and provided four assists in only 12 appearances.

At 19 years of age, the midfielder has plenty of room to develop her game, with Arsenal head coach Jonas Eidevall having said that she is one of the “brightest talents in Europe”. Whether that is borne out with Kuhl’s performances on the pitch, we shall have to wait and see.

The Gunners are likely to delve into the market again this month. Both Vivianne Miedema and Beth Mead are sidelined with long-term injuries so Eidevall’s side are also expected to bring in a striker.
