Wenger managed to convince Chilean Alexis Sanchez that Arsenal is the best choice for him. Despite the Gunners being outbid when it comes to Sanchez’s salary, they still managed to seem more attractive to the 25 year old who will cost the club around £30million. According to Metro, Sanchez, who just arrived to London last night, will have the same salary as Ozil who is the highest paid player on Emirates.

Apparently, Sanchez snubbed Liverpool, Milan and Juventus to join the Gunners. It is thought that Wenger and his trip to Brazil made the difference and tilted the balance in favor of Arsenal who were not as generous when it comes to the financial aspects of the contract.

Barcelona have already replaced Sanchez’s name on the number 9 shirt which is now being sold with Suarez’s name on it. Sanchez would be an incredible addition to the team and will bring a lot of speed and skill to the game. He is definitely coming to London to be a team regular and will probably play on a similar position to that which Theo Walcott had before picking up a nasty knee injury. Sanchez can play both next to and instead of Giroud who will finally get some competition but also some help considering he is the only striker who can score on a regular basis and also during important games.
